Will Rubber Mulch Freeze?

Rubber Mulch doesn't absorb water so it will not freeze.  This makes it a great ground cover for plants during winter weather.  Wood mulch will freeze while rubber mulch will provide an insulating layer, maintaining a ground temperature up to 10 degrees warmer in the winter.
